Thanks for a wonderful holiday! The Wellhouse has been the perfect place to relax and unwind and also a great base for exploring this beautiful area. We’ve enjoyed exploring along the coast in both directions – so many beautiful beaches and villages. The walks around Locquirec and Beg ar Fry were highlights as was our day out to the Isle de Batz; definitely worth a visit. All in all a lovely holiday and just what we both needed.

Thank you for a wonderful stay here in Plougasnou. The girls loved their bedroom in the Wellhouse and the huge garden. It was lovely for us to relax in the sunshine while they played. Isabel loved helping Debby to feed the animals. We’ve had great weather on the whole and enjoyed the beach at Plougasnou. The aquarium at Brest was brilliant on our one really rainy day.The little town of Tregieur is worth a visit. Lovely to potter round and then have a crèpe in one of the cafés. On the way home we stopped at Locquirec. Very pretty harbour and had a delicious meal at La Presqu’ile. Thank you Debby for being such a welcoming host;
A wonderful place where we spent a couple of relaxed weeks in Sept 09.
The Creche was very comfortable with many cosy evenings being spent entertaining ourselves in front of the log burner.
The weather was generally very good so we enjoyed many long walks along the beautiful coastline, sea canoeing round the islands and headlands and cycling over the rolling countryside.
We thought the location was excellent being close to local facilities with a very refreshing uncommercialised feeling but also with good accessibility to the major towns and roads to go further afield.
Wouldn’t hestitate to recommend the Gite as we had a terrific holiday. Thanks!!
We could not have been more pleased with our stay. We arrived looking for a haven from work and urban living and we quickly became happily ensconced in the Wellhouse, which was warm and cozy. We took long walks and enjoyed exploring the coastline and some of the neighboring villages, while luxuriating in the peace and quiet of our nights. On our last evening in Plougasnou, we ventured out for dinner at La Terre Neuve, and had the entire restaurant – and the charming hostess – all to ourselves. It was a treat!
Thank you for creating this lovely spot – and for our lovely holiday.
Spent a lovely week in august in the Wellhouse. Everything was there to make it a complete and relaxing holiday for us. Interesting places to visit around the village. Especially the coastal area! Thank you, Debby for your kind hospitality.

Hi Debbie,
A note of thanks to you for your hospitality and graciousness during our stay in the Creche last week. We enjoyed the cottage and the beautiful towns in Brittany as well as your suggestions of interesting things to do. Would love to come back sometime in the future.

Our two weeks holiday in Kerdalidec were most enjoyable. We were comfortable and relaxed in The Creche. Lots to see and do locally. Walks, beaches, markets, food. Very convenient boulangerie(5 minutes on foot). Superior cafe-bookshop in Market Place (lovely freewheeling back on Debbie’s bike!).
5th – 12 th March 2011 …..Deborah we thank-you for the lovely bottle of Bretagne cider. Our children aged six and eight loved to play in your marvellous garden and therefore did not want to go hiking along the coastal path! We had perfect weather. Without a clock in the Crèche and no TV we lived simply “La vie Française”. We taught our children to make ham and eggs. Tom wanted to make this menu for you but he ate all the ham and eggs himself. Perhaps some time he will make some ham and eggs for you. Our daughter loved the flowers in the neighbourhood especially the camellias and narcissi. The animals were also very important for the children. They even wanted to buy some french bread for the sheep, rabbits and pigeon.
Grandfather found his youth sentiment back in this house. He came over from Roumania to Holland to go with us to France on holiday. The wood stove was very good and we did not have any cold at all. Next time we will come again with lots of family and friends to use the big 5 bedroom house. The children have already chosen who will come with them!
Sept 2011 – This was our 2nd stay at the Creche and it was as relaxing, warm and cosy at we remembered it. No television and just peace and quiet is such a tonic. The location is terrific for many interesting days out with loads of beautiful coastline to ramble along. The local markets are really good whilst still feeling very uncommercial. Thanks so much Debby for your invaluable advice on places to visit and interesting things to do. Hope to see you again soon when we need our batteries re-charging! Take care, Alex and Andrew Brown – Devon, England
